KEEP AMERICA BEAUTIFUL

BOY SCOUTS OF AMERICA
RE: Message from our President Beau Olinde and Mayor Kip Holden
Dear Unit Leader:
The Scout Oath: “To help other people at all times”
Community service is one of the most important benchmarks used to measure the social health and quality of a country. When people are personally involved in supporting their neighborhood, the outcome is a renewed sense of unity and civic pride. Helping other people has always been an integral part of the Boy Scouts of America. Therefore the Istrouma Area Council is taking part in, and asking for your unit’s support in a Council wide Good Turn Project for Baton Rouge. This project will be a partnership with Keep Baton Rouge Beautiful and the Girl Scouts of America, and the Great American Clean-Up Campaign.
