The Istrouma Area Council Jamboree Program is now accepting applications for Scouts and Venturers to attend the 2013 National Scout Jamboree, July 15-24, 2013. Istrouma Area Council Jamboree Troop and Crew commitments will be made in March, 2012, so don't miss out. Please submit your application to the Scout Office today!

To be eligible, a scout must be at least First Class by July 1, 2013, be at least 12 years of age by July 15, 2013, or have completed the 6th grade, but not have reached his 18th birthday by July 24, 2013. Venturers (both male and female) must have completed the 8th grade or be at least 14 years of age by July 15, 2013, but have not reached their 21st birthday by July 24, 2013.

Scouts and Venturers must go online with their parents to the 2013 National Scout Jamboree website at www.bsajamboree.org/ and register. Then, they must complete an IAC jamboree application and return it to the Scout Office with a $250 deposit. Youth must also be approved by their unit leader and the IAC.
